Time for Benefit Choice

UIC employees can make changes to health and life insurance coverage during Benefit Choice enrollment through June 2.

Next year’s coverage includes changes in health plan co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance and out-of-pocket maximums; prescription and dental plan deductibles; and vision co-payments and the replacement schedule for lenses and contacts. The changes, which take effect July 1, must be made online at the NESSIE human resources website.

During Benefit Choice period employees can also enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts and change dependent coverage. Employees who are not changing coverage do not need to re-enroll.

Information will be available online and mailed to employees’ home addresses. For more information, contact benefits@uillinois.edu or 312-996-6471.
