Join us for the Student Activities Board’s annual An Evening With event, where we bring a celebrity guest speaker to campus. We are excited to announce that we are bringing social media influencer Quenlin Blackwell to campus!
Free for UIC students. No outside guests allowed.
Students must RSVP; seats are first come, first served. Doors open at 6 p.m. for UIC students who have RSVPed. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for students who are on the waitlist. All students must show their student i-card at the door.
VIP winners for the event must show their i-card at the check-in table to collect their VIP badge. Follow @UICSAB for an opportunity to win VIP tickets.
About Quenlin Blackwell:
Blackwell, also known as Quen Blackwell, has 16 million followers across platforms, including 2.5 million followers on Instagram and another 10.9 million on TikTok.
She got her start with comedy skits on Vine and was then cast to guest star in Rachel Sennott’s (“Shiva Baby”) HBO comedy pilot. The untitled series follows a group of codependent friends who reunite after some time apart, navigating how the separation, ambition and new relationships have changed them.
Blackwell also appeared in Charli XCX’s music video “360” and others like “90s Baby” by JT and “Feed The Fire” by SG Lewis. On YouTube, where Blackwell has 1.84 million followers, she hosts the food comedy series “Feeding Starving Influencers,” with appearances by Lil Nas X, Bretman Rock, Larray and Tara Yummy. “Feeding Starving Influencers” has averaged two million views during the first six episodes.
Beyond comedy, Blackwell is expanding in lifestyle formats and has worked with brands like Google, Gymshark and Amazon. She’s also modeled for and worked with fashion and beauty brands with partners like Boss, Burberry, Coach, YSL Beauty and Acne Studios.
