Atkins Medicinal Plant Garden Walk

Every summer, scientists in the UIC Pharmacognosy Institute host the Annual Atkins Garden Walk, an open house event that is free and open to the public. It includes time to explore the garden, discuss medicinal plants with researchers from the College of Pharmacy and hear a scientific lecture on a related topic.

This year’s event features the Norman R. Farnsworth lectureship by Robert Verpoorte from Leiden University in the Netherlands (12:30 – 2 p.m.).
