Presented by Joe Feldman

The path from “I’ve discovered a totally disruptive technology” to “we’re on the market and making money” is not a 1-step process.  This workshop will explore multiple examples of disruptive technologies and some of the stepping stones that might be essential to bringing a product to market.  And as Marisa Tomei proclaimed in the movie “My Cousin Vinny”, it’s more likely that success will come with the support of others.

Joe Feldman is President of Feldman Associates, a business development consulting company, focusing on business strategy, acquisitions and strategic transactions (such as licenses, cross-border expansion), negotiation strategy/closure, and financing activities for early-stage and private companies.  His prior corporate experience includes nearly twenty years with Monsanto/NutraSweet/Searle in finance, strategy, operations, and business development roles.  Additionally, Feldman has served as VP Corporate Development for First Genetic Trust, VP Business Development for Chromatin Inc., and co-Founder and Managing Director at Sandbox Industries.  Feldman has served as Executive-in-Residence for UChicagoTech and Entrepreneur-in-Residence for University of Illinois Chicago’s EnterpriseWorks.
