This session will discuss building relationships based on trust and working together to develop more effective health interventions, services and to empower BIPOC communities as key holders for health. Through this process, we will intentionally unpack and address local issues and opportunities, express how healthy living affects a community and how CHWs can assist in strengthening these gaps as they reflect on their own health experiences and participate in the decisions and structures that impact health and well-being.
