The final UTC Seminar Series webinar presentation of the Fall 2021 semester will feature Christopher M. Krakar, Chief Engineering Officer, for Metra commuter rail.
Krakar will share insight on strategies and plans underway for metropolitan Chicago’s commuter rail network, the 4th busiest in the nation. Currently, Metra operates 11 commuter rail lines with 487 miles of track connecting 242 stations.
Metra service is available in six counties in northeast Illinois and in southern Wisconsin.
