How do you feel as a person, a gender, an ethnicity, a student? Can you put your feelings into words? Care to express your emotions through symbolism? Join the UIC diversity committee in our first event of the Fall 2018 semester: a collaborative art mural that will hang in the Honors College window this fall. No artistic skills required, no prior attendance needed. Let your mark be made!

This event is hosted by the Honors College Diversity Committee, which is committed to fostering dialogue that raises awareness, expression, and appreciation for diversity. We aspire toward the cohesive wisdom achieved when students come together to offer their unique ideas and perspectives to our academic community. Through monthly hour-long gatherings called “Coffee Hours” we facilitate discussion and contemplation through workshops and collaborative art projects with the goal of increasing students’ abilities to understand multiple perspectives and life experiences beyond their own. Please join us in participatory expressions of fellowship.

Please note all students are welcome!

In case of inclement weather, this event will be relocated to Burnham Hall Room 121.
