Downtown Voices Aca-Workshop

If you enjoy music and want to try something new and collaborative, this a cappella workshop is a great place to start! This session offers a hands-on introduction to creating rich, layered music using only the voice designed by students, for students.

You’ll work with other musicians to explore harmony, blending, rhythm and simple arranging techniques in a supportive, relaxed environment. It’s a chance to strengthen your ear, improve your ensemble skills, and experience a different approach to making music — one that’s creative, fun and highly collaborative. You will also get acquainted with our audition process and an inside look at our rehearsals and preparations for competitions throughout the school year!
