Join the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) and a panel of leading transit voices to reflect on the biggest disruption to our public transit system in its history. Leanne Redden, executive director of the RTA, will kick off a discussion of lessons we can take from COVID-19 and apply to an improved regional transit system.

Panelists will include:

  • Heidy Persaud, Director of Transportation Equity, Center for Neighborhood Technology
  • Bethany Williams, Strategy and Intelligence Director, Lake County Partners
  • David Bragdon, Executive Director, Transit Center.

Moderated by: Jessica Hector-Hsu, Director of Planning and Market Development, RTA

The webinar is co-sponsored by the Urban Transportation Center at UIC as part of the Fall 2021 Seminar Series.

Attendees will have a chance to ask questions of the panel and will receive a survey to provide their input on the priorities and direction as the RTA develops a new regional transit strategic plan.
