Fall global studies workshops at Daley Library

The Fall 2025 Critical Global Studies: Comparative Urban Perspectives workshops are organized by professor Sultan Tepe, department of political science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

All workshops will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. All are open to the public, and no registration is required.

Sept. 25: Navigating Politics in the Brazilian Amazon: Notes from Fieldwork, with Rodrigo Moura Karolczak

Oct. 23: Lived Space: Moscow Residents and the Urban Renovations of the 1990s, with Elena Borzenkova (This workshop will take place in UH 1250.)

Nov. 6: Structures of Faith and Power: Islamist Party Politics in Malaysia and Morocco, with Yasmine Haiti

Nov. 20: Spirit and Souls in the Race-proud Republic, with Noah Blakemore Briggs
