This workshop provides a “field guide” to the world of different investors.  Many, perhaps most, entrepreneurs and executives with more established businesses have a surprisingly limited understanding of financing sources.  This workshop will propel you to the relatively few who have a solid understanding of basic investor nomenclature, including the what’s, why’s, and who’s of different investors.

Joe Feldman is President of Feldman Associates, a business development consulting company, focusing on business strategy, acquisitions and strategic transactions (such as licenses, cross-border expansion), negotiation strategy/closure, and financing activities for early-stage and private companies.  His prior corporate experience includes nearly twenty years with Monsanto/NutraSweet/Searle in finance, strategy, operations, and business development roles.  Additionally, Feldman has served as VP Corporate Development for First Genetic Trust, VP Business Development for Chromatin Inc., and co-Founder and Managing Director at Sandbox Industries.  Feldman has served as Executive-in-Residence for UChicagoTech and Entrepreneur-in-Residence for University of Illinois Chicago’s EnterpriseWorks.
