Finding retractions in research (hybrid)

Date / Time

October 1, 2025

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Discover how to detect retracted research, understand retraction processes on different platforms and ensure the integrity of your sources in this hybrid session from the Library of Health Sciences.

The production of new knowledge relies on scholarly conversation, usually through books and journal articles. We expect that those sources be true and accurate. However, sometimes they aren’t, and they must be retracted. This workshop explores the definition of retractions, how they are documented in different platforms and what your options are for identifying them that you can integrate into your research workflow.

Attend in person or online. All workshops will be recorded and made available to all who registered for the online session.

In person: Room 123 at the Library of the Health Sciences – Chicago

Register to attend online.
