Luz: Seeing the space between us

Join us for a book presentation on LUZ: Seeing the Space Between Us, a 3Arts-funded, bilingual book project that celebrates Diana Solís’s return to making photographs after her two decade detour to pursue other artistic practices. Featuring portraits made in Solís’s longtime neighborhood of Pilsen during the COVID-19 pandemic, LUZ: Seeing the Space Between Us reflects upon the transformations that Pilsen has undergone. The artist’s book also features photographs made by Solís during her years as a documentary photographer and activist and newly produced risographs.
