Oh, The Places You’ll Go!: The Post-Master’s Journey

In this talk, Julie Matsubara, Director of the English Language Institute at the University of Chicago, will walk through her post-Masters journey, which began with an English lectureship at a Japanese university and then transitioned to Higher Ed administrative roles in the Chicagoland area. She will focus on the elements that would serve as guideposts for those who are interested in a similar career path, such as taking advantage of professional development and leadership opportunities, and gathering information on how to become a competitive candidate.
