Rising Attorneys Inclusive Summer Experience (R.A.I.S.E) 2026

The Rising Attorneys Inclusive Summer Experience (R.A.I.S.E) is a free, exciting, two-day immersive event held exclusively for UIC undergraduates interested in learning how to use a JD degree to improve yourself, your community and society.

Participants will:

• Explore how to prepare for, apply to and finance law school.
• Hear firsthand experiences from current students, alums and professors on how to succeed in law school.
• Explore unique legal topics designed to challenge your analytical and critical thinking skills in a mock class.
• Step into the courtroom and put your advocacy skills to the test in our immersive mock trial experience, featuring real-life judges.

Open to all majors.

Many previous students who had not considered law school have learned about the possibilities that a JD can offer. R.A.I.S.E is suitable for all majors, from pre-law and STEM, to art, business and everything in between. Learn how you can combine your passions with a law degree.

Continuing UIC undergrad students in any college or major and in good academic standing are welcomed to apply (unfortunately, students graduating in the spring or summer semester of the upcoming school term will not be eligible).
