Summer program for high-school students: Everybody Wants to Be a Marketer

Marketing is more than social media and advertising. The marketer’s job is to bring data and people together while leveraging customer satisfaction. During this session, high-school students are invited to explore career opportunities in marketing and find out how creativity can impact an organization.

There is no cost to attend, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

To participate, students must:

• Have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Be entering sophomore, junior or senior year of high school in fall 2026.
• Demonstrate an interest in business or related fields.
• Express interest in attending UIC for fall 2027.
