The University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health Global Health Program is proud to welcome a delegation from Lagos State University to the UIC School of Public Health on July 28 for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between our two institutions.
The Lagos State University delegation includes:
- Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Babatunde Ogala
- Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello
- Member of Council, Towanu Abiodun Hundeyin
- Registrar and Secretary, Emmanuel Abiodun Fanu
The formal signing ceremony will take place from 1–2 p.m. at the UIC School of Public Health. Following the ceremony, from 2–3 p.m., a roundtable discussion, moderated by Professor Olowokure, associate dean for global health and professor in the UIC Division Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the UIC School of Public Health, will provide Lagos State University leadership and UIC faculty with an opportunity to explore shared priorities and identify avenues for collaboration in global health, education, research and academic exchange.
This event marks an exciting milestone in strengthening our international partnerships and advancing our shared commitment to improving global health through collaborative scholarship and innovation.
