Wind Ensemble Concert

The UIC Wind Ensemble’s Fall Concert “Of Our New Day Begun,” features works by Omar Thomas, Nicole Piunno, Holst, Persichetti, Grainger, and Williams.

The Wind Ensemble’s repertoire spans from the Middle Ages to the most refined 21st century music. Championing the performance of new music, the ensemble has begun a rich history of commissioning the rising stars of composition. The Wind Ensemble hosts acclaimed guest composers, conductors and artists annually.

CTA Blue Line to UIC-Halsted. There are 3 exits from this platform. Take the far west exit with the long ramp (toward Morgan Street). There are also CTA buses (#7 and #60) that stop directly in front of our building.
