Biography
Hugh Mundy is a professor of law at the UIC School of Law and a recognized expert in criminal law, criminal procedure and evidence. He teaches courses in evidence, trial advocacy and lawyering skills, and his scholarship focuses on criminal justice reform and expanding access to justice for marginalized communities.
Before entering academia, Mundy served as an assistant federal public defender in both New York and Tennessee, where he handled complex criminal cases and argued appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
