Biography
Dr. Sodabeh Etminan
Dr. Sodabeh “Sue” Etminan is the chief of oral health at the Mile Square Health Center, a federally qualified health center affiliated with the University of Illinois Chicago. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Etminan’s work embraces enhanced medical and dental integration for the most medically complex patients and increasing access to oral health services for vulnerable populations. Her clinical expertise in an interdisciplinary setting, specifically federally qualified health centers.
She was selected as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow in 2012 and as an Obama Leader in 2024. She has also served on the National Advisory Committee for the National Health Service Corps and is on the workforce committee for the National Association of Community Health Centers.
