Associate professor of social work
Biography
Through his studies of social environments and social problems, Von Nebbitt hopes to contribute to the healthy development of adolescents — particularly African-American youth in cities.
A social-work scholar, Nebbitt is researching teen health issues, including daily life in public housing, mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, and risky behaviors related to sex, substance abuse and delinquency.
