Zachary McDowell
Zachary J. McDowell is an assistant professor of communication with a passion for understanding how information is created, shaped and consumed in today’s digital age.
His research focuses on topics such as media, information, Wikipedia and technology policy and ethics in regards to the internet and AI technologies. With a focus on uncovering what information is excluded and why, McDowell seeks to promote greater information equity and remove access and knowledge barriers.
