Zorica Nedovic-Budic

Spatial planning, cities and technology are at the center of Zorica Nedović-Budić’s research and teaching.

Her work explores the implementation of geographic information systems, spatial data infrastructures, and technological tools in local government and urban contexts, and evaluates their impact on local planning processes and decisions.

Nedović-Budić’s current research involves integration and utilization of the emerging non-institutional crowd-sourced data acquired via mobile apps and social media.

In the field of city planning, she has engaged in the comparative study of planning systems and urban development practices, with a particular focus on transitional societies of post-communist Europe.
