Starting semester on right foot

Students started the year on the right foot Sept. 8 by finding ways to be fit on campus during Rec Fest.

During the annual Campus Recreation event, students ascended a rock-climbing wall, competed in sand volleyball tournaments, joined club sports and more.

The event took place at the UIC Outdoor Field Compex, which features grassy multipurpose fields with more than 214,000 square feet of artificial turf to accommodate various sports and activities.
