Summer institute module on course technology started

CATE Summer Institute logo

Module 5: Leveraging Technology discusses choosing specific technology to create a student-centered learning environment that suits your teaching needs. The major components of this module are:

  • Using Blackboard’s native tools
  • Keeping Universal Design in mind when using technology
  • Choosing a live streaming and lecturing tool
  • Examining engagement and discussion options
  • Choosing tools for assessment

Check out the content and get some new ideas for your course. Post in the discussion, and then drop into one of the live sessions. The first live session for Module 5 is this Friday, July 30; you can RSVP for the session online. We can’t wait to hear what you learned from Modules 1-4.

If you have enrolled but haven’t yet checked out the Summer Institute course, now is a great time. If you haven’t enrolled, it’s not too late!
