UIC engineering students intern at NASA

For three UIC Engineering students, the summer was truly out of this world.

PhD students Caleb Smith and Raguez Taha, along with undergrad Yuri Labuca, recently returned from Huntsville, Alabama, where they interned with NASA. The three appeared live on WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight,” where they shared their inspiring stories and how their UIC experience prepared them for career-building opportunities like working with the space program.
