Odeh Case: The immigration fraud charge facing a 66-year-old local Palestinian community activist Rasmieh Odeh resembles recent federal arrests of Palestinian advocates, according to Nadine Naber, UIC associate professor of gender and women’s studies and Asian American studies. Naber, a scholar of Arab women’s activism in the Middle East and the U.S., can comment on Odeh’s case, which is scheduled for formal arraignment Nov. 13.
