5K run/walk supports lung cancer research at University of Illinois Cancer Center

WHAT:

The University of Illinois Cancer Center, in partnership with A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation, presents the Chicago Lung 5K Run/Walk to promote lung cancer awareness. Proceeds support lung cancer research programs of the center and the foundation.

WHEN:

May 21

9 a.m. – 12 noon

WHERE:

Lakefront, at Oakwood and Lake Shore Drive (at 39th Street in Burnham Park)

DETAILS:

Registration is online through May 17, or at the event. The cost to walk or run is $35 for adults and children 13 and over, $15 for children ages 5 to 12. Children under 5 are free. T-shirts are included.
