Mafia, Violence, and Women in Contemporary Italy

Veronica Vegna is the author of “Donne, mafia e cinema: una prospettiva interdisciplinare” (2017), a critical study of gender roles and the representation of the mafia in contemporary Italian cinema. Her research interests and publications are primarily on Italian cinema, migration, and foreign language acquisition.
