CHW Connect, a program of the Office of Community Engagement and Neighborhood Health Partnerships, will be providing a two-part series on mental health specifically for community health workers.
In this series, you will learn about some of the most common mental illnesses facing our communities, how to identify them and resources available to address mental health needs. Understand the connection between mind, body, spirit, and financial health and well-being. Create resiliency and positive coping skills for managing stress. Discover ways to restore wellness and practice self-care. The holiday season can be a very stressful time of year! Join us for some fun and relaxing tips to incorporate less stress and more joy into your holidays. This class will be offered in two sessions, one hour each.
