UIC Alumni Exchange: Putin’s War: Ukraine, Russia and the West

As Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine, we welcome Petia Kostadinova, associate professor of political science at UIC’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences March 30 at noon. Kostadinova will establish the war’s geographic, recent historical and political context and discuss Ukraine’s democratic trajectory and European aspirations. We’ll also learn about the international response to the invasion, why Americans should pay attention and what we can do to help. Register online.
