Jonah Fleisher

Dr. Jonah Fleisher

Dr. Jonah Fleisher is assistant professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology in the UIC College of Medicine and director of the Center for Reproductive Health at UI Health.

Fleisher is fellowship-trained in complex family planning and focuses his clinical practice on complex contraceptive care, abortion and miscarriage management.

His interests in public health and global women’s health have brought him to study and work in countries in Africa, Central America and South America. Fleisher’s research includes the study of pregnancy mementos provided in abortion services and on reproductive health literacy. He teaches patient advocacy and is actively engaged in medical student education.
