The University of Illinois Cancer Center is hosting three-part 2024 Winter CME series beginning in January.
The first session, Jan. 24, focuses on advances in diagnosing and managing genitourinary, gastrointestinal and thoracic cancers; the second session, Jan. 31, is women’s cancers; and the third session, Feb. 7, is hematologic malignancies.
The target audience for this conference is medical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, oncology nurses, fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, family practitioners, primary care practitioners, allied health professionals and other providers interested in the care of patients with cancer.
Cancer Center Deputy Director VK Gadi, MD, PhD, is the course chair and the co-chairs are Cancer Center members Abiola Ibraheem, MD, and Ryan Nguyen, DO, along with Matias Sanchez, MD. All three are medical oncologists at UI Health. Faculty for the sessions include other Cancer Center members.
CME Series Details
The sessions will be live in person at Venue SIX10, 610 S. Michigan Ave., in Chicago’s South Loop, and offered online via live broadcast. Sessions will run from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The conference will also be recorded and posted online for on-demand access 60 to 90 days later. Exhibitors from industry will be present and food and beverages will be served.
