Little Sparks Winter Coat Giveaway

The Little Sparks Program of UIC is holding a coat giveaway to give winter gear to UIC students who are parents for use by their children this winter.
A coat giveaway will be held Monday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 1-4 p.m. Students can sign up at the Little Sparks website. Additionally, the program is providing diapers, wipes and formula for students that need them.
The Little Sparks grant was received from the U.S. Department of Education and run by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to support UIC students who are parents and ensure that they have a positive and successful experience at UIC. Funds are used to subsidize childcare, create play/study areas for use around UIC, improve lactation rooms around UIC and provide needed items to UIC student parents.
