Biography
The status of refugees and immigrants in the United States and elsewhere has been a major topic of public concern in recent years.
Adam Goodman’s research covers the legal and moral ramifications of migration history and policy in-depth. His award-winning book, The Deportation Machine: America’s Long History of Expelling Immigrants, was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize in History.
Goodman is also a co-organizer of the #ImmigrationSyllabus project.
