Join the UIC School of Public Health for its inaugural Daniel Swartzman Public Health Ethics Lecture.
Named in honor of Professor Swartzman for his exceptional career promoting social justice, this endowed lecture ensures that the area of public health ethics will forever be a part of the UIC School of Public Health’s efforts to educate tomorrow’s best and brightest leaders.
The evening’s keynote speaker is Lisa M. Lee, an epidemiologist and public health ethicist. Dr. Lee is the founding Chair of the American Public Health Association (APHA) Ethics Section and served as Executive Director of President Obama’s Bioethics Commission.
