The Cost of Segregation: Transportation Strategies for Equity

An analysis of the impact of transportation equity across metropolitan Chicago will be the focus of a presentation, “The Cost of Segregation: Transportation Strategies for Equity,” on March 1. Speaker Audrey Wennink, Director of Transportation at the Metropolitan Planning Council, will share key findings from a MPC 2017 study and review strategies addressed in a second phase report. The presentation is part of the Urban Transportation Center’s Spring 2018 Seminar Series. It will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Great Cities Institute Conference Room, 4^th Floor, CUPPA Hall, 412 S. Peoria St., Chicago. The event is open to all.  Pizza will be served and guests are invited to bring their own lunch.
