This exhibition showcases works by eleven Masters of Fine Arts candidates
from the UIC Art Department. During the fall semester of 2018 they
participated in a seminar led by Professor Dianna Frid called “Thinking of
Death to be Alive.” The seminar and accompanying exhibition examine ways
in which art is a tool for thinking of and with mortality.
