According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 130 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose and an estimated 1.7 million people in the U.S. have an opioid use disorder (OUD).

Join us at the 2019 AHS Interprofessional Education Day and the Ruth French Memorial Lecture, where you’ll develop the basic ability to recognize an OUD, intervene directly or through referral, and develop a plan of care for any condition when an OUD is present–all under an interprofessional lens.

The 2019 Ruth French Memorial Lecture, “IPE: The Future is Now,” will be presented by Barbara Brandt, an internationally recognized leader in the field of interprofessional education and practice.
