UIC Global Health Colloquium

Please join us for our monthly Global Health Colloquium on Wednesday, February 5th at noon.

Our speaker will be Jeannie Annan, Ph.D., Director of Research and Evaluation for the International Rescue Committee, and Senior Research Associate at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Dr. Annan’s research focuses on sexual and gender-based violence against women, children and youth in armed conflict, and psychosocial programs for victims of wartime and sexual violence.  Her talk is titled “Addressing The Gap in Mental Health Interventions For Young Adolescents in Humanitarian Settings.”  You can find more information about her work HERE.
