UIC Flames forward Jordan Blount grew up in Cork, Ireland, where basketball is the third most popular sport. Since arriving at UIC, he’s learned well the challenges and demands of a Division I collegiate athlete. Now, as a junior averaging just about nine points and five rebounds per game, he understands better than most how complicated it can be to become an NBA-ready prospect.
