Breast Cancer Survivors’ Day at UI Health
More than 150 breast cancer survivors, their friends and family; UI Health physicians, nurses and staff; and UIC students will come together to celebrate survivorship and raise awareness for breast health.
The event will include line dancing, African dance performance, a movement workshop, a raffle, and gifts. A mini-forum will allow patients to express their feelings about breast cancer.
Who:
Everyone is invited. Representatives from Imerman Angels, Bright Pink, Gilda’s Club, American Cancer Society, and Metropolitan Breast Cancer Task Force will be present.

11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where:
Hospital Courtyard — across the street from UI Hospital, 1740 W. Taylor St.
Event will be moved inside the hospital in case of rain.
