A fundraiser sponsored by Liautaud Graduate School of Business students raised $2,700 to support the Night Ministry, a Chicago nonprofit serving people facing poverty and homelessness.

More than 70 students, alumni, faculty and staff attended the social to raise funds and create awareness for the nonprofit.

The event, hosted by the MBA Association at the Estate Ultra Bar in Chicago, raised money through ticket sales, corporate donations and a raffle with more than $800 in prizes.

Liautaud students have partnered with the Night Ministry throughout the school year. Student groups prepared meals for residents of a temporary youth shelter. Other students designed an information security system for the organization as a pro-bono consulting project.
