Chair Chats with the Chancellor Featuring Dr. Anthony FauciAmerica’s most distinguished public health leader, Dr. Anthony Fauci joins Chancellor Marie Lynn Miranda in the inaugural Chair Chats. Dr. Fauci and Chancellor Miranda will explore issues of health equity, the future of pandemic response and his time serving as a key advisor to seven U.S. presidents and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for nearly 40 years.

Chair Chats is free and open to the UIC community and broader public, but registration is requiredRegistration and question submissions will close Tuesday, Feb. 13, at midnight (or sooner if the event reaches capacity). Walk-ups will not be admitted

Bag Policy: 

Large bags and/or backpacks are not allowed at this event. Purses and bags 14”x14”x6” or smaller are permitted. All guests must enter through an Evolv Security Scanner. Some items, including purses or bags, may be subject to search.

Transportation

Designated UIC campus shuttles will begin looping the campus at noon. The last shuttle will leave the Forum at 4 p.m.

To avoid an arrival delay we encourage attendees to use public or alternate methods of transportation. Check-in will require a valid ID.

This in-person only event has been designated as an approved event for non-exempt civil service employees. These employees may be released from work to attend in person or virtually, without having to charge a benefit, operations permitting and with prior supervisory approval.
