2024 Office of Technology Management Innovation Celebration

Please join the Office of Technology Management to celebrate the innovative impact that UIC research has made both nationally and globally at the 2024 UIC Innovation Celebration. It is important to recognize and celebrate the significant contribution that UIC research provides to commercialized products and to the ongoing success of the university’s economic development mission and the growth of entrepreneurial talent in our community.

The UIC Innovation Celebration ceremony and networking reception will include:

• Guest keynote speaker: David Gulley, PhD, RTTP, CLP, from the Technology Transfer Office at the Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust.
• Presentation of the 2023 UIC Inventor of the Year Award: Deepak Shukla, PhD.
• Industry and Investor Panel Discussion: Ni Dodoo-Amoo, PhD, MBA (Osage University Partners); Nancy Harvey PhD, MBA (IllinoisVentures); Sandeep Jain, MD (UIC); Gianina Varea, MBE (Portal Innovations).

In honor of such high-impact research, the UIC Innovation Celebration will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. Oct. 30, in the Michele M. Thompson Room A of the UIC Student Center West, 828 S. Wolcott Ave. A light reception to follow.
