UIC African American Advisory Council is convening a Town Hall to address continued concerns of Black UIC students, faculty, and staff.

Join the UIC African American Advisory Council for a Black History Month Call-to -Action Town Hall on Dismantling Racial, Institutional, and Social Inequities.

Chancellor Michael Amiridis will open the forum and provide an overview of UIC’s efforts to address concerns pertaining to access, equity, and inclusion.

Black History Month remarks will be given by Ms. Alexis Grant (UIC Graduate Student) and Dr. Darryl D. Pendleton (Faculty/Administrator, College of Dentistry/Urban Health Program)

Rev. Dr. Janette Wilson, ESQ, National Director of Education (PUSH Excel), will deliver “a fantastic keynote address,” aimed to discuss the dismantling of racial, institutional, and social inequities at UIC.
