Reid starred in the Sony thriller “Missing,” released in theaters before streaming on Netflix where it quickly rose to No. 1 in the film category in many countries. She can be seen in a standout episode of the HBO series “The Last of Us” opposite Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal. Her performance on the show earned her an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Reid also stars in “The Nun 2” from Warner Bros. Pictures and can be seen in the Emmy-winning Sam Levinson and MAX series “Euphoria” opposite Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.

Reid and her mother, Robyn Simpson, launched A Seed & Wings Productions, an independent multimedia production house rooted in narratives that forge multi-cultural conversations, entertain, educate and uplift. They aim to create authentic storytelling that is impactful and honest and reflects the perspectives of all people. Reid is set to star in the Paramount film “Becoming Noble,” which she is producing under her A Seed & Wings banner. She’ll also star in and produce Teyana Taylor’s directorial debut, “Get Lite,” for Paramount.

Reid also starred in Warner Bros. Pictures’ “The Suicide Squad” with Viola Davis and Margot Robbie; “The Invisible Man” opposite Elisabeth Moss and “Don’t Let Go” with David Oyelowo, both from Universal Pictures; and Lionsgate’s “12 Years A Slave,” among others. Her breakout role was starring as Meg in Disney’s live-action adaptation of the acclaimed children’s novel “A Wrinkle In Time,” directed by Emmy and Oscar winner Ava DuVernay.

Reid created the brand ArashiBlu, which now includes her philanthropic endeavor, ArashiBlu 1720. She launched ArashiBlu 1720 with the intent to advocate and support the next generation of creators by serving her community. The 1720 One Park at a Time initiative aims to restore parks and playgrounds in underserved neighborhoods across the country. The first park being restored is Brownwood Park in Reid’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Reid held a groundbreaking event at the park with partners Coco Gauff and New Balance.
