The Department of Polish, Russian and Lithuanian Studies cordially invites you to a lecture by Rasa Navickaitė about famous Lithuanian American archeologist and mythologist Marija Gimbutas (1921-1994) on the occasion of her centenary.

Rasa Navickaitė holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Gender Studies from the Central European University (CEU), Budapest. She has taught courses on the topics of Gender History, Gender, Sexuality and Religion, and Biopolitics under State Socialism. Currently, she is a Teaching Fellow for the Open Society University Network (OSUN), global refugee education initiative. Her main research interest is history of gender and sexuality in Eastern Europe.
