Color Me Resisting: 2020 Family Day Kick-Off!

Date / Time

January 19, 2020

9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join Jane Addams Hull-House Museum for the first Family Day of 2020!

In this year, we celebrate the ratification of the 19th Amendment which granted women the right to vote 100 years ago. All families are invited to explore the museum during one of four 30-minute museum tours. Hear stories about activism and resistance during storytime in our interactive children’s corner. Express yourself through theater games inspired by Viola Spolin, a Hull-House pioneer of American improvisation. Join one of our art-making projects in partnership with local Chicago artists. Or, simply warm up with a cup of hot chocolate, cider and snacks! FREE with RSVP and Open to All Ages!
