What is emergency contraception and why is it important on a college campus like UIC?

Join the Women’s Leadership and Resource Center in person or via Zoom for a panel discussion that aims to engage the UIC community by exploring the meaning of emergency contraception, access and availability of emergency contraception on campus, the barriers that potential users face and what needs to happen to remove those barriers, the relationship between emergency contraception and reproductive justice, and how we can address challenges in terms of institutional support and student awareness.

  • Erica Hinz, Clinical Assistant Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
